Call for Oral and Posters contributions

Technical Topics

The technical program is designed to highlight innovations and challenges facing the topics ranged from the physics and chemistry to the engineering of materials, devices and sensors. An emphasis on nanosensors and biosensors complemented the traditional focus.We encourage the submission of original, unpublished research focused on (but not limited to) the following topics of interest:

  • Sensor microsystems
  • Intelligent sensors & wireless networks
  • Signal conditioning and Instrumentation
  • Applied signal-and image processing
  • MEMS and actuators
  • Micro-power generation
  • Medical & point of care
  • Agro and food industry
  • Biological and biomedical applications

Full Paper Submission

Deadline EXTENDED to: Sep 11th, 2014

For oral contributions of accepted abstract, a technical paper must be submitted in digital format (PDF) through the paper submission page. (Mandatory)

For poster contributions of accepted abstract, a technical paper could be submitted in digital format (PDF) through the paper submission page. (Not mandatory)

Technical papers must be written in English and must use the IEEE conference format. The maximum length is four (4) pages including illustrations and references.

Accepted and presented technical papers (oral or poster) will be published in the IBERSENSOR 2014 Conference Proceedings and submitted to IEEE Xplore®.

Use IEEE manuscript templates for conference proceedings as template for your paper and following formatting requirements:

  • Paper Length: Maximum 4 pages for oral contributions, including figures, tables & references
  • Paper Size: US Letter (8.5" x 11") or A4 (210mm X 297mm)
  • Fonts: Embed ALL fonts in your PDF file. Avoid the use of Type 3 fonts.
  • File Format: Adobe PDF (.pdf)
  • Do NOT page number your paper
  • Do NOT apply security settings to your PDF file

Poster Session

IBERSENSOR 2014 does not have a template for poster contributions, but all poster must follow the below specifications and suggestions:

  • Paper Size: A1 (594mm x 841mm) (Mandatory).
  • Use color, headlines, and data presentation to communicate with clarity and simplicity.
  • Figures and tables should cover slightly more than 50% of the poster area.
  • The movement (pathway) of the eye over the poster should be natural: down the columns, along the rows.
  • Text size should be large enough to be seen from 5 feet or 1.5 m away.
  • Arrows, pointing hands, numbers and letters may be used to help clarify the presentation.
  • Avoid confusing abbreviations, acronyms, and jargon.
